|
VIC MORROWS is a former Special Forces member and skilled in hand to hand combat. Living in Thailand with his wife, LARA, he has become CHO SUPITAYAPORN's prized fighter. CHO is VIC's Mafia Promoter and the local Mafia godfather. VIC refuses to throw a fight and his resulting win causes CHO to lose money and face. As payback, LARA, is murdered in cold blood by CHO's son, LEE SUPITAYAPORN. CHO washes his hands of the deed, but manages to frame VIC for LARA's murder.
Six years later, VIC is released from jail with the assistance of a CIA operative, DEAN, in exchange for help; the eradication of the godfather, CHO, and his son, LEE, to 'maintain the balance in the South East Asian theatre' as far as US interests go. It is up to VIC to find LEK, one of LEE's henchmen, and the man who carries the secrets to "ULTRA" on a thumbdrive. How VIC finds LEK and deals with him, is up to him.
VIC is drawn further into the game. Killing LEK has upset the godfather, CHO, his son, LEE. While VIC is tracking down his wife's killer, CHO's and his right-hand man, LAO, are making deals with the North Koreans for first-grade counterfeit US bills and credit cards. LEE, however, has his own plan, known as "ULTRA", a sophisticated computer algorithm programme that will allow him to flood the world with untraceable yet fully functional counterfeit credit cards and personal ID's. The brinkmanship between CHO and LEE has led CHO to strike a deal with DEAN to take out his own son LEE.
But DEAN's plan is even more sinister. DEAN pits one against the other with the ultimate aim of having VIC kill them all so that he can take control. To make sure his hands stay clean, he also employs an Amerasian hooker, FRAN. It is FRAN's job to ensure VIC's death when all the others have been removed from the scene, leaving DEAN scot-free and in charge of one of the largest crime syndicates in South East Asia.
Caught between conflicting and powerful interests, VIC has to both fight to survive and to avenge his wife's death or die trying.
